Here is a logo Randal did using Adobe Illustrator. There is an obvious optical illusion at play here that bothers some people. Oh well… if it gets your attention, its a pretty good logo, right?

I designed this logo back in the 1990′s for a corporate division called “Sensory Evaluation Division” for use in an event booklet. It was done as digital vector art in Adobe Illustrator. I am pretty sure the font used is Apple Garamond!

OBJECTIVE
Abbott required a new pharmaceutical product logo illustrated in a technical “blue-print” look to help communicate the “cutting edge technology” used in the product development, and to aid in brand positioning.
SOLUTION
Randal Birkey created the logo in a technical software drawing environment, adding the paper textures and construction lines. The composite file was delivered to the client for placement into standard graphic design software.
